Thanksgiving Initiative 2020

The Nutley Family Service Bureau’s Thanksgiving Initiative 2020 provided a bountiful holiday meal for our Food Pantry participants.

NFSB is grateful to all the individual, business, municipal, civic and religious community partners who generously contributed. Over 175 holiday meal baskets were distributed to local households. Individual contributors signed up to supply traditional trimmings.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THANKGIVING INITIATIVE SUPPORT!

SHOPRITE AND KIWANIS DELIVER
Nutley ShopRite delivered 150 turkeys from their shopper-donated Bonus Program. The Cheer-Me-Up Foundation contributed holiday baskets. Belleville/Nutley Kiwanis Club added their Cheer-Me Up baskets for a total of 18 donated.

PITCHING IN THE PACKING AND DISTRIBUTING
Quality Technology Services supplied the “baskets” for our baskets. Nutley High School Key Club held a food drive resulting in 250 donated items and helped to distribute many of the Thanksgiving Baskets… our Pantry Volunteer crew made it happen!
